job interviews
I have had two job interviews with a non-profit org for an Admin Assistant/ events assistant. This job is part-time, 25 hours a week and I can determine the hours I work every week. It seems like such a perfect position for me during this time. I think I would have a lot to offer the organization and it would really help me with my schedule, and some extra money. They called 3 of us back for second interviews and I should hear back within the next day or so. I REALLY want this job.

Back to the real world.....
That is where I am. I was gone for about 7 weeks and now I am back in Bakersfield.
New Staff Training was great...it was also hard. I was surrounded by 150 others who were also joining the Staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and giving their lives to Him. It was amazing. I had some really great times, made great friends and learned a lot. I also had some hard times that I have written about.
Now I am working on raising my initial support to get to my assignment. This is one of those processes that is going to include some really great times and some really hard times. I just need to keep my eyes fixed on Him and He will get me through it. Right now I need motivation to get the ball rolling, I have been dragging my feet and now it is time to just jump in the deep end and trust that what I learned over the 5 weeks at NST and will get me there.
After my time in Florida I spent almost two weeks in Southern California. It was great! I got to see friends I hadn't seen in a while, watch some really big puppies and just relax some. On my last day there I went to the beach and that was such a great end to my time.
I am also really trying to get excited about going to Davis. I am no longer upset and not wanting to go there but the excitement just hasn't come. I REALLY want to be excited about it, but it isn't something I can force....I know it will come.
I am excited about what I will be doing there and the ministry that goes on there. All I hear are wonderful things about Davis. I know I will love it when I get there.....until then join me in praying for excitement. I want to be excited for what the Lord has in the future for me, not blah about it.
until then......
Okay real world here I come!!
