A long awaited updateOk, ok it has been a while. I have been gone for over a week at first a National Board meeting and then a week long training for New Staff and Interns. It was a really good week, long but good. I think I need a couple days of sleep.
Support is finally at 100%!! Yeah God! I have been meeting up with more students and spending more time on campus. I am in charge of outreach on campus and this is an area I could use prayers. Pray that students would want to share their faith. Right now I am not getting a lot of responses from people. I need to know how to best go about training students and getting them excited about sharing their faith.
Overall I would say I am good. God has definitely been teaching me some things about myself. Started a great book last week by John Piper called “Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ.” Great book, I recommend it.
So I stopped today and thought about how great God is. In the last week He has done some awesome things. Support is coming along REALLY well. I only need about $112 more per month and have several more leads. He has provided several generous amounts in the last few weeks.
We have had some great times going out and sharing lately. Please keep this area in your prayers. I am overseeing outreach on campus and this is a somewhat slow process. But it is starting to happen. Today a girl showed an interist in accepting Christ, it was a great conversation. I have had a few great ones this week!
I am starting to go to a women's Bible study at church. That starts tomorrow.
Ok, I am off to go see Third Day and the Big Fresno Fair...woo hoo!!

I am sitting in my bed right now under my covers with my laptop on my lap. It is bringing back memories of Scotland. It was always so dang cold there that I would get under my nice warm duvet and use the added warmth from my laptop. I would stay up too late at night chatting with people back home. (actually since I was cold all the time, there were different times all throughout the day that you could find me like that) Ohhhhh the memories. At least here I don't have to worry about my little friends coming out late at night.
hmmm...what is going on with me?? I have reached the 90% support mark, so I am working on campus part-time. That is really nice. Only a few hundred more in monthly support and I am done! You can keep some support things I have coming up in your prayers. Also, that I could finally reach a few people.
Sharing times on campus are really starting to take off. Last week in the same day I got to lead a girl through her first Bible study and then went and shared my faith with a Buddhist. I love my job. Students and staff alike are really starting to go out more often to share their faith. This is what needs to happen at Fresno State. Today I talked to a group of girls and one of them showed an interest in knowing more about a personal relationship with God, she gave me her email address, lets pray she gets my email and meets up with me.
I feel like I am writing my prayer letter here-- which is something I have been procrastinating on. Need to get that out and honestly looking at my schedule this week I am going to aim for the beginning of next week.
