I found out the answer to a questions I had raised on a previous blog. Why do you sometimes see Hanukkah with a C and sometimes with a CH? The answer is...............
he ch spelling is closer to the gutteral sound of how the word is pronounced. As EH put it "either way, any way you spell it in English is just a translation but us gringos, we can't read it in hebrew."
