All About Carrie

There have been so many things that I have wanted to put on my bog but I never took the time to write about. I am going to mention a few things that still stick out in mind even after two weeks.

Gospel Concert

I have never been very into gospel music. It is not that I don’t like it, it just isn’t something I listen to. I went to a friends sister’s concert at Biola and I was moved. It was a combination of Christmas music and some old gospel tunes. Listening really made me remember what the real reason for this season is.
It really bothers me that I always need a reminder of that. Our society has taken something and made it something completely different. It isn’t about getting gifts, or giving gifts, it is all about the gift that was given to each of us so many years ago. I am not making as big of a deal about gift giving this year, I would rather spend time with people and give them the gift of me J

Time with friends

I invited myself along with MEE and RH to visit the happiest place and earth. It was pretty random, I took time off right before finals, but it was worth it. Going to Disneyland isn’t completely the same when you are an adult but still a fun time. Here are a couple pointers 1-don’t go on Grizzly Rapids water ride in December when evening is approaching. 2- they don’t let you take coffee in the monorail, so don’t buy an expensive one and then burn yourself trying to get a few drinks from it.

Finals—all I have to say is that they are over!! Yippee skippie. Can you sense the glee behind those words? It is very nice to be done. Just one more semester to go!!
