Christmas Caroling

My church went out into the neighborhood tonight and caroled to our neighbors. It was a really nice time to give to the neighbors. I took some opportunities to talk to the people who came to the doors. We received all kinds of responses, from dogs running out at us, to nothing, to thank yous. It was lots of fun.

After the caroling we all came together at the church to hear the Christmas story read by our pastor. He challenged us to “Open the Windows of our Hears” this season. To take the time to stop and remember what started it all so long ago. That is something I need to do.

After the caroling we went down Christmas Tree lane and saw the two mile stretch of houses decorated. That was also nice.
