Ok, first off today I learned a valuable lesson......ALWAYS TAKE AN UMRELLA with you when you go outside.
You would think I would have learned this by now, but sometimes I am a slow learner. Our first week I walked out of class one day to a heavy rain fall and got wet. Started carrying an umbrella. Today I didn’t take one and it was more like a torrential down pour. I wish I could have taken a picture, I was soaked when I walked into our dorm room.
I walk/ran a 5k this morning. My times was under what I had guessed it would be.
I still have no idea where I will be placed....will find out either tomorrow or within the next two weeks. learning a lot about patience, mostly that I don't have any.
I need more sleep. Think I might take a nap now.
