Today it took me more than three hours to get from Bakersfield to Fresno.
Part of it was bad weather and bad traffic, and the other part was sheer blondeness.
My car has kinda been giving me problems lately and I know I need a new battery. I stopped in Tulare for a drink. When I went back out to my car it wouldn’t start. It wasn’t doing anything so I called AAA for a jump. They only took about 30 minutes to get there and the car still wouldn’t turn over. It was odd. The tow truck driver told me to try it again and I looked down and noticed that the car was in drive.
My car has this weird quirk that will let me stop it and remove the keys while it is in drive. I hadn’t put it in park!! I put the car into park and it started right up!! I am sure that tow truck guy was laughing at me as he drove away.
There were then 2 accidents on the road in-between Tulare and Fresno. Finally when I got into Fresno it was more than three hours later than when I had left Bakersfield.
That is my blonde moment of the year.

I must confess, I too have had that very same'blonde Moment'
I had lots of them when I was prego with T. Not so many with E. NoW I HaVe tHeM aLl tHe TiMe. (4 No ReAsOn @ aLl.)

You stopped for a DRINK? Don't you know you aren't supposed to drink and drive Carrie Sue???
