October Already

I cannot believe that today is October 1st. It seems like this year just started and it is so close to being over. When looking back on the year a whole lot has happened. I applied and was accepted to STINT. They asked me to lead the team. I graduated from college!!! He provided all the funding for me to go to Scotland. I left for Scotland and am here now. That is just a few of the things. It really makes me think of all the things He has done for me this year and how much I have grown. Four years ago there would have been no way I would have seen myself in another country doing full time ministry. WOW, God is good!!!!

Back to life in Edinburgh

One of our mice was caught last night. It is somewhat sad. I was happy to hear it was captured, but when I saw it in the trap I was sad, and somewhat petrified. We are on the way to being rid of the creatures. I think I am ok with that, I just don't prefer to see them caught in the trap. I even got to carry the lifeless creature down to the bin for a burial in the trash heap.

Leg Warmers

I saw people wearing leg warmers today! How cool. I loved those things. Since there were two people wearing them maybe is is becoming a fad again. They certainly are warranted here.

Fashion

I cannot believe what some people wear here. I thought that the short little skirts with Uggs was a CAli thing, not so much. You see people wearing that here. There just is normally a pair of tights with them. I looked at shoes today, my weakness. I was proud of myself and didn't buy anything.

I don't know what Uggs are... and so don't understand your comment about people having thighs...? :-) Good to hear from you lately!

Ha, thats amazing. You would think that around here people would be familiar with Uggs but they're not. Geez, it wasn't even October yet and it was frosting/freezing overnight. Uggs just aren't known around here. I have a pair and they're great but my feet still get cold. As for the leg warmers, that's so what I need but I think they're the nastiest thing. Have you seen anyone wearing tye die? Thats mighty popular in Iowa! Amazing how things change when you go to a different city, state or country. Keep Blogging!
