I was just washing up (means doing the dishes) and God really put things into perspective for me. I was standing there washing the dishes from this lovely meal the He had provided and I started to think about how we don't have a dishwasher and we don't have hot water all the time (it is on a timer and runs twice a day). Then I took something over to the bin (trash can) and I started complaining in my head how I would have to walk down four flights of stairs to get take the trash out since we don't have a lift. It was also a bit cold in the flat. Then God put this in my head. Why am I in Scotland? To do His work. I am not here on vacation. I am here to serve Him. He has given us such amazing accommodations, so much more than we need and I am complaining. What is wrong with me?? God really has provided so much more that I could ever imagine.
