Today I learned that God is completely in charge of things and I need to let Him be. He is so in charge of things that if I don't let Him control them He could take them away at a moments notice.
I was informed today that my support needed to be at 50% or they wouldn't book my plane ticket for me. If they can't book my flight I can't go. That mean I needed to raise about $6000 in less than 24 hours. I about freaked out. I didn't know what to do, it didn't seem like it could happen. First thing I did was ask a lot of people for prayers. I then finished my day at work and then started on support.
I called my pastor and talked to him a a bit. I then cried some and had a talk with God. If this is something He wants me to do then He will provide the support. I prayed over things, was honest with Him and then got back to support raising.
In 4 hours I have made it so that I currently need $223 in monthly donations and $410 in one-time donations to be at the half way point. I have until tomorrow afternoon. I feel a lot better about things. That is because I know He is in charge and not me. When the yield sign is up, you had better follow it.
Continued prayers are definitely appreciated as I am only at about 50%. I will need to go from 50% to 100% in 2 weeks. I know God can do it!! I am just here for the ride.
