I went to bed after being up for a little over 24 just a few hours ago. My sorority had an event and some of the girls decided they wanted to stay up all night. We had a lot of fun just playing card games and getting to know each other better. I don’t know if you have ever experienced how silly you get into the wee hours of the morning, but there was a point last night when we lost it. We were reprimanded by others who were trying to sleep, but we still couldn’t stop laughing. I am normally the person who comes out and asks someone to, “quiets down, people are sleeping.” But not this time. We had so much fun. I do feel bad that we got so loud, but I have to admit, it was fun. All I can say is
”dots” and “spoons” (you had to be there, if not it probably just seems weird).
I got home at about 8:00 am and went to sleep for about 4 ½ hours. I figured that is enough sleep, that is fairly close to what I have been getting lately. I am now off to work for Light the Night, a walk for leukemia and lymphoma. The event doesn’t end until 9 pm, and then I need to get some homework done. Ugh, I don’t think the total hours of sleep this weekend are going to be very high. This headache will probably go away as I wake up? You think? I don’t think I’m as young as I use to be.
