There was a kidnapping from California State University, Fresno at about 5:25 pm on Monday, September 29, 2003. The assailants were two pledges from the Flower class of Alpha Delta Chi, Theta Chapter. There mission…..to Kidnap the President. They were successful. I can’t tell you a whole lot more information than that or I would have to shoot you.
I can say that I had a very nice evening with our new pledges. As tradition, they took myself, and the Pledge Mom, out to dinner and left the actives to do their thing. It was a great week for this to happen, it really relived a lot of the stress of things that have been going on.
This was a good way to start my week. I had been dreading tonight’s meeting. There have been a lot of things going on and I don’t know if I was completely ready to face everything. I would like to think that I am not just avoiding things, but I feel if we can just let a little more time pass some things will blow over. We’ll see.
