If you read this You must post a memory of me. It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad. Just so long as it happened. Then post this to your journal, and see what people remember about you …
What I love about Carrie is that she truely and deeply cares about people. With all her joking about it being "all about her"...her life shows that its really "all about HIM"
I also love her willingness to make bold and creative statements about her hair-- I haven't tried pink yet, but she makes it look good.
Carrie is such a wonderful person with a sparkling personality. I can't tell you of how many times we've giggled together. I'll have to admit, my favorite memory is Carrie's Starbucks "attacking" her white shirt. (You'll have to ask her for the story) I miss you girl and can't wait until you're back in the states so I can see you.
Carrie - these pictures are amazing!!! This is artwork to frame!!! I envy you getting to see all these beautiful sights and places in person!
Although the story doesn't involve me other than I heard about it when it happened, I'll never forget the weekend that Katie and Carrie were up north - I think perhaps in Monterey or something and Katie drove Carrie home to Bakersfield (I hope I have my story right!). So Carrie gets home and realizes after a while that her backpack is still in Katie's car - so Katie had to get back in the car and drive to Bako. I think actually that one of Carrie's friends met her halfway. Gotta love Carrie! :) Isn't this a true story???
I would post a memory about you, but I really can't think of anything right now. The only thing I could say, is that every time I wear something pink, I think about you! By the way, this has been up for almost a week, I want to hear what is going on, why haven't you posted anything new?
I remember filling you in on what football really is about on a looooonnnnnngggggg car ride from Atlanta to T-town, oh and falling in love with your phone :) ~Polly Anna
ok, so i have been racking my brain for a good story to put up here... i guess one story that comes to mind is one of the last trips that you and i took before you left for Scotland. We met Michelle and a few other people up in Pismo, and just hung out at the beach for a bit. Then later that day we went to McLintocks, you had never been, so i had the waiter stand up on a chair, blindfold himself and pour water from a pitch into a glass that you had put on your head... instead of going in the glass the water went ALL over you... after we were done with dinner we drove to Pacific Grove and stayed at Michelles house with the 3 of us sleeping on the pull out couch, i have never been that close to you before... and we both have vowed to never be that close again;)... we then got up that morning and drove around Pacific Grove, Monterey, and Carmel... well i then remember haveing a hard time finding the right freeway to get on to get home, and as we found it we went out of our way getting home from there... now i can get us there and back without any problems!!!
I remember that I basically got no sleep that whole night and after we did find the freeway slept the whole way home (something I never do). I had two write my last three papers ever that day for my last university course.
I'm sorry you feel neglected! Did I take too long thinking? I know I did, but it's cause there are so many parts of you in my past, and there isn't one out-standing memory of you that is good for writing about. Except your graduation which i really don't feel like writing about to everybody else, cause my strong memory of it isn't really about you. :-D I do appreciate your parents' graciousness in my moments of weakness though! Hmm.... scarves come to mind--on my parents' couch taking photos of us at Christmastime. Your pink hair. Being dubbed PoopyPants, and how you've kept it alive. Trip to Pismo, et al. Working Chrysalis with you getting all butterfly decked and totally into it! Your generosity of time and effort. Your friendliness to everyone. :-) I guess I'll keep it at that for now and see if there's one particular thing that needs to be mentioned later sometime. Does that help? I love you, Carrie!
Texting is actually a very common way of communicating here. I don't text as much but I do text a lot, more like a 100 or so a month instead of the like 750 I used in the states :)
"If, just as we are, we would lay ourselves on the altar of service of Jesus Christ, there is no saying what Christ could do with us and through us. We may be sorry and embarrassed that we have not more to bring -- and rightly so; but that is not reason for failing or refusing to bring what we have and what we are. Little is always much in the hands of Christ." William Barclay

I'm still thinking of the right memory to post. :-) Several come to mind...
